TheSFS Gym Cables use a special material of coating. This is in order to reducethe friction that the wire rope will suffer. Gym cables will typically have anylon or PVC coating, with each offering their own array of benefits. Whileboth are strong coatings that provide a good level of protection, nylon istypically stronger, while PVC is cheaper.
